Our delicious breads are inspired by recipes from the Mediterranean and around the world. Baked in various formats, we can tailor-make our bread to suit customer requirements.
Italian
Ciabatta
Based on an authentic Italian recipe, our ciabatta dough is enriched with extra virgin olive oil and fermented for longer to develop a fuller flavour. The dough is cut by skilled bakers and stretched by hand into the traditional 'slipper' shape, which produces a fabulous open texture. It is then stone baked - a traditional method of baking directly on top of large stone slabs - which gives the crust an extra special, irresistible crispness.
Our ciabatta is available part-baked, fully-baked or frozen.

All of these products are available in plain, tomato, olive and garlic butter.
Focaccia
Our focaccia range is made with extra virgin olive oil, giving it an authentic open texture and a crisp crust.
All the products are hand-topped and available part-baked, fully-baked or frozen.

Panini
Made with extra virgin olive oil, our Panini has a lovely soft texture and is perfect for making sandwiches or toasted with cheese and ham. The rolls have authentic bar markings across the top and come part-baked, fully-baked or frozen.
French
Our French breads are truly authentic, allowing consumers to recapture memories of holidays in France. We use French flour and traditional methods to produce French breads second to none. Our products are 'ready to bake', giving warm, crusty bread straight from the oven.

English/Organic
We have a dedicated area for our organic breads, which are made to traditional recipes using only premium quality, natural ingredients.
Many of our organic breads are made under licence for the Duchy Originals brand, whose profits are donated to the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation.

Crispbreads
La Fornaia was 'first to market' with its ciabatta crispbread - fresh ciabatta, sliced, dried and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt, before being toasted. It was so successful, we developed a full range of Bruschettine - crisp toasted slices of ciabatta and focaccia, perfect for dipping or topping or simply eating on their own.
The Bruschettine range comes ready to eat in an ambient format.
