La Fornaia gets ready for move into food service sector
Leading speciality bread supplier, La Fornaia, heads in a new direction in 2005 as it starts to offer its high quality speciality breads to the food service and catering sector.
"Our top-quality, innovative range is already a big success with supermarket customers," says Sales and Commercial Director, Ken Glennon. "Now we're going to be offering an exciting new range to the food service sector."
La Fornaia's move into the food service sector will be led by newly recruited Food Service Manager, Michael Bowen. "With 25 years of experience in supplying top quality products to the food service sector, Michael is ideally placed to take us into this new market," says Ken Glennon.
La Fornaia will be offering a range of frozen and ambient speciality bread to the sector. "We'll mainly be distributing to the independent wholesalers and brewing groups," says Michael Bowen.
"We will be offering food service operators something they haven't been able to get before, premium quality handmade/handcrafted speciality breads & rolls. Consumers love La Fornaia's breads and we're already getting a high level of interest from the service sector," says Ken Glennon.
